Shipping containers in Enfield, NH
Trapp Rentals and Storage is based 31 miles away in Piermont, NH, and delivers new and used shipping containers directly to Enfield, NH — no third-party carriers, ever.
Enfield sits on Mascoma Lake, a summer and year-round lake community built around what was once one of the largest Shaker settlements in the country. The Enfield Shaker Museum — the Great Stone Dwelling and surrounding village — still anchors the south end of town, while the lake itself draws camps, cottages, and full-time homes along its shoreline.
Where It Lands in Enfield, NH
Deliveries here split between lakefront camps and cottages — some with seasonal or narrow access roads — and inland residential and farm properties toward the Mascoma Valley. Lake-road access can be tight, especially on older camp roads, so we plan the approach in advance for anything close to the water.

About Enfield, NH
Enfield was chartered on July 4, 1761 — named by settlers from Enfield, Connecticut, who brought the town's name north with them. Its defining chapter began later: Shaker missionaries first visited in the 1780s, and in 1793 a community was formally established on the shore of Mascoma Lake as "Chosen Vale," the ninth of eighteen Shaker societies founded in America. At its 1850 peak, the village held roughly 350 residents across 100 buildings on 3,000 acres. The Great Stone Dwelling, built between 1837 and 1841 for the Church Family, is the largest Shaker structure ever built and remains the centerpiece of the Enfield Shaker Museum today. Declining membership forced the Shakers to close the community in 1923, consolidating with the Shaker village in Canterbury, NH — the lake that drew them remains the center of town life, now ringed with camps and homes instead of communal buildings.
What Enfield, NH buyers and renters should know
A lot of what we deliver in Enfield is seasonal — camp owners storing gear over the winter, renovation overflow for lake cottages being updated, or extra space during a move in or out of a lake property. We also see regular farm and homeowner storage inland, away from the water.
Enfield runs a bit longer than our closest towns but stays comfortably within our normal delivery window.
