Interior figures account for wall thickness and corrugation — the door opening is always the tightest point, so measure anything you're loading against that column, not the interior width.
The extra foot that matters
A High Cube container is a full foot taller than a Standard container — 9' 6" exterior instead of 8' 6" — with all of that extra height showing up inside as roughly a foot more headroom. Same footprint on the ground, same door width, noticeably more room to stack pallets, park equipment, or just walk around without ducking. We carry High Cube in both 20' and 40'.
Same box, different access
Double Door, Open Side, and Tri-Door units are the exact same exterior and interior dimensions as the Standard container in that size — the only thing that changes is where you can get in.
Doors on both ends — drive or walk straight through instead of digging to the back.
Extra door panels cut into the long side, in addition to the one set of end doors — for fast access without unloading everything up front.
Standard double doors on one end, plus a single man door on the opposite end — three door leaves total, no side doors.
